She steals surfboards by the seaside.

In the summer of 2023 a wild Sea Otter off of Santa Cruz discovered a full on pirate-passion for commandeering surfboards from surfers and catching waves. Otter 841, nicknamed Laverna after the roman Goddess of Thieves, has stolen many a longboard and upended several kayaks on the water. And in 2024, she came baaaack!
